Question:
Do I need a high speed internet connection?
Answer:
No - the system has been designed to perform well using lower speed (bandwidth) connections.
Question:
When I work through the getting started the following error message "No Such interface Supported" is displayed.
Answer:
Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 4.0, 4.01 for Windows 95 and Windows NT have a known bug that returns an error when scripting is used to open a new web page, to find out more from the Microsoft site please

Question:
When I did the encryption test nothing happened.
Answer:
If your browser is capable of 128 bit encryption but when you open the encryption window nothing happens. It may be because your proxy configuration is incorrect. Please check with your Internet Service Provider/System Administrator to see if you need any special settings to use encryption.
Question:
Do I need to leave my browser window open once I am logged on?
Answer:
No - once you are logged you don’t have to have your browser open. However you must have an active connection to the Internet (your ISP).
Question:
I am always having to use my scroll bars to view the various windows. How can I avoid this?
Answer:
The application has been designed for screen resolutions of 800 x 600 (or higher). Your screen resolution can be changed from the Settings tab page in the Display applet in your PCs Control Panel. Or you can right click on your desktop and choose properties.
Question:
What happens if there is a new version of the Snowball Application?
Answer:
The new version of the application will download automatically. This means that the first time you run the application it will take longer than usual to load.
Question:
Why is my printed output being truncated on the right of the page?
Answer:
If your printer has been set to print using zero print margins it may truncate the information on the right of your page. To correct this, go to File/Page Setup in your browser and change the right print margin to be 10mm in Internet Explorer, or 1cm in Netscape.
Question:
Sometimes I get a Security Information warning ie "This page includes secure and non secure items - do you want to display the non-secure items" - what does this mean?
Answer:
This is a known "bug" of Internet Explorer Version 5.5. It is perfectly safe to answer yes to this question.
